IN-PLANT WELDING POSITION

We are currently looking for a full-time welder/assembler. Under the supervision of the Delson plant manager, the incumbent will be responsible for reading drawings, cutting, MIG welding and meeting established standards and quality levels.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret drawings, templates and welding (MIG) specifications.
Ensure compliance with production schedules and deadlines
Take inventory of consumables and equipment
Ensure compliance with required quality and safety standards

Profile Required

DEP in welding (or in progress)
Minimum of one year's experience in a similar position (an asset) and/or one year's training (welding)
Excellent ability to read blueprints
Good command of welding techniques
Use of machinery and tools such as band saws and drills
Ability to read tape measures (imperial and metric)
Self-reliance, resourcefulness and attention to detail
Punctuality and motivation
Ability to work as part of a team

Benefits

Daytime schedule Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Full-time daytime work (40 hours per week)
Relaxed work atmosphere
Salary to be discussed according to experience: $ 24 to $ 28
500 bonus after 500 completed hours
